Early on in testing it became clear that there were problems with the visibility check. During playtests, actors would pop in or remain invisible indefinitely. It didn’t take long to discover that the prototype’s raycast-based line-of-sight calculation wasn’t sufficient. The raycast wouldn’t detect when an actor was visible until too late, and sometimes the check wouldn’t succeed at all. I went through several iterations before finally landing on a solution that worked consistently.
What are we doing next? Little surprise here, but we’ll continue to iterate on the best version of Vanguard with an emphasis on keeping cheaters out of the ecosystem for good.
To be fair, that's true in basically every other competitive game, to varying degrees. Kernal driver or not, the best anyone seems to do is mitigation: Make it so that dedicated players don't have to deal with cheating too often.

To build more confidence in the system, I expanded on my wallhacks by creating some automated sınav cases that have bots enter valorant esp hack and exit Fog of War. This helps us make sure that the Fog of War system is still functioning after every new build.
Combating cheating is not a “set it and forget it” solution like an advanced anti-cheat or some sentient AI - it’s a continual arms race. We could write a thesis on this whole subject (maybe a videoteyp would be more entertaining?), but we’ll sum it up briefly.
It's a vague comment—presumably to avoid giving too much away—but it doesn't sound like the existence of aimbotters is a surprise to him.
Some anti-malware programs will block Valorant hacks and other cheats because it thinks it is malicious. This is derece true. You will need to find and disable the firewall blocking the software.
This was addressed throughout the year by automated actions. We focused on accuracy above all for these actioning waves, and we want to increase their cadence in the future (more on that below).
Recoil Hack: Recoil control reduces the amount of recoil a player experiences when firing their weapon, making it easier to take down enemies.
We prefer immediate bans but sometimes it's better for us to delay so that the cheat developers don't learn that they're detected for a while.
